This workshop is designed to help attendees improve the accessibility of their research. Participants can bring an abstract from their own work or one in their field and will learn best practices for making it more easily understandable to the public. A graduate student ID is required.

In collaboration with the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Penn Museum presents flutist Emi Ferguson and harpist Ashley Jackson for a conversation and musical demonstration, moderated by Assyriologist Paul Delnero. The conversation will explore the role of the flute and harp in Sumerian culture.

Building Better Nutrition Together

The Perelman School of Medicine, the Community Grocer, and the Cobbs Creek community collaborate for this open dialogue about the challenges of improving health by having a healthier diet. The conversation will include results from a nutrition study conducted over the summer. Lunch is provided.

Organized by the Division of Human Resources, this workshop features Stella Grizont, a positive psychology expert, who will share the latest research on the science of happiness and how these insights can be applied to the workplace. Registration is required to attend.
