Confabulation Lecture Night

The Sachs Program for Arts Innovation invites the public to join for a night of confabulated lectures based on artworks from the exhibition We Are Nature, featuring artworks from Penn's art collection. The short lectures will be developed in collaboration with Obvious Agency. No prior knowledge of the artworks is necessary.

Jewish Sororities and Acculturation

As part of the “Jews and the University: Antisemitism, Admissions, Academic Freedom” series, hosted by the Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies, Shira Kohn of The Dalton School discusses how Jewish sororities on university campuses offered young women a chance to see collegiate life up close while also forcing them to contend with forms of discrimination.
