Vocal artist Victoria Hanna performs a mash-up of art, artifacts, and learning, with a set of rare objects on public display. Simcha Gross of the Jewish Studies Program will introduce the culture of demons and spells in the ancient Near East. This performance and talk is presented in partnership with the Herbert D. Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies.

The Wolf Humanities Center presents the Dr. S.T. Lee Distinguished Lecture Series, featuring Anna Tsing, a professor of anthropology from University of California, Santa Cruz. Tsing, who studies the ecologies of land-water interface, will discuss concrete as a building material and an adjective.

In a series of panel discussions, hosted by the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics and the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology & Informatics, experts gather to critically explore the current state of health research regarding known sources of structural and institutional racism and their links to health. This is a one-day conference; registration is required.
