As part of the Diversity Lecture Series at Penn, presented by the Office of Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Programs, Mia Bay, the Roy F. and Jeanette P. Nichols Professor of American History in the School of Arts & Sciences, will discuss transportation segregation in an effort to understand the Civil Rights Movement as a struggle for Black mobility and the right to freedom of movement.
