The Faculty Senate hosts this first in a series of roundtables about the future of American universities. Panelists include Irene Mulvey, former president of the American Association of University Professors; Michael Roth, president of Wesleyan University; and John Sexton, president emeritus of New York University. Kathleen Hall Jamieson of the Annenberg School for Communication will moderate a discussion about politics and higher education.

Penn Commencement

Penn’s 262nd Commencement ceremony will take place at Franklin Field and will be preceded by student and academic processions through campus. The ceremony will feature the conferral of degrees, the awarding of honorary degrees, greetings by University officials, and remarks by the Commencement speaker Andrea Mitchell.
