The Penn Jazz Ensembles are small groups of three to six members that rehearse weekly under the guidance of professional Philadelphia-based jazz musicians. Their repertoire is varied and includes early jazz, 1950s-era straight ahead jazz, Cuban jazz, vocal jazz, jazz arrangements of current popular music, and other styles. Free and open to the Penn community.
