In celebration of the centennial, the Barnes has commissioned “Once Again . . . (Statues Never Die),” an immersive five-screen film installation by artist and filmmaker Isaac Julien. The work explores the close relationship of Dr. Albert C. Barnes, an early U.S. collector and exhibitor of African material culture, and Alain Locke, cultural theorist and “Father of the Harlem Renaissance."

Music Night at The Rotunda

Fire Museum presents the Uriol Korean Percussion Ensemble, a traditional Korean percussion ensemble led by Hyunjin Cha; Sing Slavic, a group of vocalists from all backgrounds that loves sharing Slavic folk songs; and Anna Young, an artist, composer, and performer for a night of music. This event is a fundraiser for the Abortion Liberation Fund of Pennsylvania.
