Photographing Revolution in HaitiDuring this Penn Libraries program, Sean Quimby, associate vice provost and director of the Kislak Center, will interview Penn alum, photographer, and cinematographer Phil Parmet about his experience documenting life in Haiti after the fall of Claude “Baby Doc” Duvalier in 1986. Parmet will discuss contemporary lessons about the capacity of photography and photojournalism to raise awareness and drive social change. Free and open to the public. Register to attend.
