The 2021 Jay I. Kislak Symposium explores debates about historic records, posing questions like "Who decides? What qualifies? Whose story does it tell?" The keynote speaker is Erin Thompson, author of “Possession: The Curious History of Private Collectors.”

Image-Based Abuse

Hosted by the Annenberg School for Communication’s Center for Media at Risk, the symposium features keynote speakers for a discussion about image-based abuse across political campaigns and social network reforms. The symposium will identify patterning in its occurrence and strategize research agenda for policy recommendation.
