The Andrea Mitchell Center's Race and Politics series invites André Odendaal, the Vice-Chancellor's Writer in Residence at the University of the Western Cape, to talk about two of his award-nominated books. “The Founders” and “Dear Comrade President: Oliver Thambo and the Foundations of South Africa's Constitution” discuss the contributions of Black intellectuals on South Africa's constitutional culture, both in the past and present, in the context of late 20th century.
