Syrian American poet, hip-hop artist, and peace activist Omar Offendum, whose written popular music inspired by the democratic uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa, performs a special set for the museum partly inspired by the “Cultures in the Crossfire: Stories Syria and Iraq” exhibit. Programming also includes a tour of the exhibit and a talk about connections between artistic and historic worlds. $5-$10.
