The Wolf Humanities Center joins with the History of Art department and the Education, Culture, and Society Program at Penn GSE to present a screening of the film “Town Destroyer,” which focuses on the controversy surrounding the depiction of George Washington in Great Depression-era murals painted by Victor Arnautoff. A discussion with the movie’s directors, Alan Snitow and Deborah Kauffman, will follow.
