Translating Warhol

The numerous translations of Andy Warhol’s writings, words, and ideas offer a fertile case study of how American art was, and is, viewed by those in other countries. Preeminent scholars in art history, literature, and translation studies will consider these interpretations in a two-day interdisciplinary symposium.
