Penn’s Common Press has spent 2026 exploring the materiality of the Declaration of Independence and the craft and material practices behind this founding document. Participants can drop in to see the results of their research and learn about letterpress production. Attendees will have a chance to examine two replicas of the Declaration document and a series of letterpress-printed broadsides, as well as make their own print. Free and open to the public.
