The Ethnography in Education Research Forum invites Ranita Ray, a sociologist and ethnographer specializing in education, race, gender, and class, to present her book, “Violent Schools.” In her presentation, she will unravel the American public education system's indifference toward Black, brown, immigrant, queer, and economically marginalized children.
