In collaboration with the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Penn Museum presents flutist Emi Ferguson and harpist Ashley Jackson for a conversation and musical demonstration, moderated by Assyriologist Paul Delnero. The conversation will explore the role of the flute and harp in Sumerian culture.

Building Better Nutrition Together

The Perelman School of Medicine, the Community Grocer, and the Cobbs Creek community collaborate for this open dialogue about the challenges of improving health by having a healthier diet. The conversation will include results from a nutrition study conducted over the summer. Lunch is provided.

Welcome America Celebration

As part of this year’s Wawa Welcome America festival, the Penn Museum will offer free admission to all visitors. This event includes a performance by Penn Flutes, an Egypt Trivia contest, as well as a several tours, among others.
