The recently rebranded Penn Book Center, now People's Books & Culture, continues its ongoing All But True reading series, hosted by the Working Writers Group. Tori Bond and Nathan Allan Long read from their respective books of short stories, many of which are flash fiction. Refreshments will be served.

An original Annenberg commission, the Center partners with PHILADANCO for this Daniel Ezralow-choreographed rendition of PHILADANCO's “Xmas Philes.” It's a humorous holiday performance with a contemporary-dance spin.

The Crossing at Christmas

Choir performs inside a church

The Grammy Award-winning choir performs songs that reflect on the winter and holiday seasons. Among them, in this world premiere concert, is David Lang's “the little match girl passion,” based on the Hans Christian Andersen story, and Spectral Spirits by Edie Hill.
