Penn's Arthur Ross Gallery Landscape/Soundscape Exhibit Includes Digital Student Exhibition
In conjunction with the Arthur Ross Gallery’s latest exhibition Landscape / Soundscape, a digital student exhibition features 11 photographs and accompanying sound art pieces from University of Pennsylvania students.
The Landscape / Soundscape exhibit opened January 14 and goes through March 26, 2017 at the Arthur Ross Gallery, 220 S. 34th Street, in Penn’s Fisher Fine Arts Library building.
This digital student exhibition is on view in the Arthur Ross Gallery on a touchscreen kiosk, and can also be viewed on the web.
An open call was put forth for Landscape / Soundscape: Student Projects at the beginning of the Fall 2016 semester. Submissions were selected by committee from undergraduate and graduate students in a diverse range of programs.
All the projects chosen are by students in the College of Arts and Sciences. The undergraduate students are sophomore Arjun Doshi, senior Ingrid Tous, senior Sneha Easwaran, junior Sabrina Elkassas, junior Nicholas Escobar, senior Megan Hayes, senior Tatum Gale, junior Angela Patini and junior Zheng Yuan. The graduate students are Juan Castrillon, Casey Egner, Lesia Mokrycke, Chris Richards and Asha Sheshadri.
The Arthur Ross Gallery is free and open to the public. HOURS: Weekdays 10:00am – 5:00pm; Weekends 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Closed Mondays.
