Screening: ‘A Hero’

“A Hero”—a 2021 film by Iranian director and two-time Oscar winner Asghar Farhadi—tells a deceptively simple tale of a man on leave from a debtors’ prison who chances upon a pile of gold coins. The film raises philosophical questions that Meta Mazaj, a senior lecturer of Cinema & Media Studies, and Mahyar Entezari, lecturer and director in the Persian Language Program, will discuss post-screening.
