PHILADELPHIA — The University of Pennsylvania’s Police Department has been awarded international accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. and was selected as a “flagship agency” among its peers.

PHILADELPHIA –- Nine sustainability projects ranging from composting office food waste to reusing storm water to monitoring and reducing energy use will begin this spring at the University of Pennsylvania with Green Fund support.

 PHILADELPHIA— Maureen Rush, vice president for public safety at the University of Pennsylvania, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees at the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College.

 WHAT: University of Pennsylvania students and community volunteers will plant 45 trees on campus to celebrate the University’s earning the Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree Campus USA designation. The trees will be planted on College Green.
