Penn Park Groundbreaking Is Today at 1 p.m.

 WHAT: A groundbreaking at the University of Pennsylvania for its 24-acre, $46 million Penn Park that features pedestrian walks, three athletic fields and a 12-court outdoor tennis facility and will bring 20 percent more open space to the campus.

The University of Pennsylvania has become the first Ivy League school to partner with The Posse Foundation, which recruits and trains young people from urban high schools and sends them to top-tier colleges and universities as multicultural groups of 10 called "Posses."
