Doug Lynch has been named the new vice dean for graduate admissions and executive education in the Graduate School of Education. In this role, Lynch—who came to Penn April 1—oversees admissions policies for GSE’s traditional and non-traditional programs. Lynch will also assist faculty in the development of executive model and continuing education programs.
Previously, Lynch served as assistant dean for corporate learning and new business initiatives at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Before that, he worked at the College Board as director of member services and at Arizona State University, where he helped create the Genesis Academy, one of the states first charter schools designed to meet the special needs of kids involved in street gangs.
