    The University’s nexus for technology transfer supports researchers in their innovative efforts, from CAR T to mRNA advancements that have dramatically reshaped the world.

    The Penn Center for Innovation (PCI), the University’s technology transfer hub, celebrates 10 years. In that time, PCI has helped faculty and researchers transform their discoveries into real-world applications that benefit society—researchers like César de la Fuente, who recently developed a state-of-the-art AI model that can predict whether a given amino acid sequence will have antibiotic properties.

    In Senegal, the ambitious Dakar Greenbelt project seeks to create an extensive network of ecological infrastructure in and around the city to sustainably address environmental concerns and enhance urban life.
