Just go to www.upenn.edu/u@penn, click on “Open Enrollment” under Announcements and log on with your PennKey and password to change your plan or doctor or to add or remove family members. Even if you’re not making other changes, this is a good time to update your life insurance beneficiary information. Questions? Contact the Penn Benefits Center at 1-888-736-6236.

Moving up

The annual U.S. News & World Report’s best graduate schools rankings are out, and five of Penn’s schools are on the list. The School of Medicine moved up from fourth place to third. The Wharton School came in at number three in the business school category, and both the Graduate School of Education and Penn Law maintained their seventh place rankings. Meanwhile, Penn admitted just 17.6 percent of a record 20,479 applicants this year. The admittance rate is the lowest in Penn’s history, and resulted from both a surge in applications and an expected increase in the number of students who will accept their offers of admission.
