The University community has until Nov. 3 to participate in the annual Penn’s Way charitable giving campaign. Last year, the campaign raised $1.457 million for local charitable organizations. This year, the campaign seeks to raise $1.35 million in support of three partner organizations: the Center for Responsible Funding, Penn Medicine and United Way. Those umbrella groups support a variety of nonprofits that focus on health and wellness, hunger, women’s issues, homelessness, education and cultural issues. Supporters can log on to the secure Penn’s Way website at www.upenn.edu/pennsway to enter pledges online; donations are tax-deductible.
