From June 7 through 17, music will be in the air in University City. During that time, the University City District is presenting “Heart & Soul,” an art exhibition featuring eight artist-decorated pianos positioned on sidewalks and in public spaces throughout the neighborhood. PennDesign Professor of Fine Arts Terry Adkins will be among the artists decorating the pianos, which will be available for anyone to sit down and play. Other artists include black-and-white printmaker Joe Boruchow, fiber artist Melissa Maddonni Haims, and illustrator Katie Holeman.
