The 2015 Penn’s Way workplace charitable giving campaign is underway, with a goal of $1.5 million. This year’s theme is “Giving is Penn’s Way,” which is meant to honor the culture of generosity and thoughtfulness among Penn employees. The Penn’s Way Campaign runs through Nov. 14. All University and Health System employees, student workers, and contracted employees are eligible to participate.
The Penn’s Way campaign enjoys the support of three campaign management organizations: the Center for Responsible Funding, Penn Medicine, and the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. Participants may donate broadly to any of these organizations or target a contribution to any of the thousands of funds and agencies they represent.
For more information on how to donate and how to enter weekly raffle prize drawings, go to www.upenn.edu/pennsway.

In honor of Valentine's Day, and as a way of fostering community in her Shakespeare in Love course, Becky Friedman took her students to the University Club for lunch one class period. They talked about the movie "Shakespeare in Love," as part of a broader conversation on how Shakespeare's works are adapted.
