University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School Launch Penn Wharton China Center
The University of Pennsylvania (“Penn”) and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (“Wharton”) today announced the opening of the Penn Wharton China Center (“PWCC”) in Beijing, China. The Center is an important expansion of Penn’s engagement with China, which began in 1896 when the first Chinese student enrolled at Penn. It will operate through the University’s China based affiliate, Penn Wharton Consulting (Beijing) Co, LTD.
W. P. Carey Foundation endows Francis J. & Wm. Polk Carey JD/MBA Program at Penn Law and Wharton
In recognition of a $10 million endowment from the W. P. Carey Foundation, the JD/MBA program at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania will be renamed the Francis J. & Wm. Polk Carey JD/MBA Program.

Penn Trustees Approve Design for Pennovation Center at Pennovation Works Site

Theodore Ruger Named Dean of Penn Law School
Theodore Ruger has been named dean of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, effective July 1. Ruger has served as a member of the faculty for more than a decade and the school’s deputy dean since 2013. The announcement was made today by Penn President Amy Gutmann and Provost Vincent Price.
