Commonwealth's First Lady to Participate in Pennsylvania Commission for Women Videoconference Event Friday

11th- and 12th-grade and undergraduate students from several high schools and colleges across the commonwealth
WHAT: A videoconference led by Judge Rendell, the Pennsylvania Commission for Women and MAGPI to discuss the Governor's Conference for Women and the Pennsylvania Coalition for a Representative Democracy civics initiative with schools from across the commonwealth

WHERE: MAGPI, Suite 233A, University of Pennsylvania, 3401 Walnut St., Philadelphia
MAGPI, Penn's Internet2 hub, will host this event, which will include a live interactive discussion with the Rendell and a multi-site question-and-answer session to raise awareness of the Pennsylvania Commission for Women and its initiatives, including the Governor's Conference for Women.
Stiles will talk about the commission and its initiatives to ensure women and girls have equal opportunities. Conference participants will have the opportunity to learn about how they can get involved.
Rendell and Spector will talk about the role of civic education and the impact on women in Pennsylvania.
