PHILADELPHIA –- U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah will speak about the need for diversity in nursing, a profession in which 95 percent of registered nurses are white women and the median age is 45, on Monday, Feb. 11, from noon to 1 p.m. at the University of Pennsylvania.
The seminar, sponsored by the Penn School of Nursing, will be held in the Bodeck Lounge of Houston Hall on the Penn campus.
The event is free and open to the public.
