The EWGP's inaugural symposium will bring energy experts together to present their views on the federal government's response to the global energy crisis and scientific and technological hurdles that must be overcome to solve the crisis in an environmentally acceptable way.

A highlight of the event will be an extended lunch session with Penn scientists and engineers presenting posters of their ongoing research in the areas of fuel cells/ceramic sensors, energy conversion processes for solar energy, hydrogen storage and advanced structural materials for energy applications.  

The symposium, sponsored by Penn's School of Engineering and Applied Science and School of Arts and Sciences is free and open to the public.
