WHAT:
The University of Pennsylvania is holding the 2009 Geometry of Quantum Fields and Strings boot camp, as part of the Research Training Group Graduate Summer School.
This two-week workshop will serve as a boot camp for young researchers or science-minded media interested in cutting-edge mathematics and physics concepts.
Topics, delivered by 15 world-class experts in mathematical physics, include research on interfacing algebraic geometry, quantum field theory, geometric representation theory, algebraic topology and string theory.
