Irving, the Miriam Stirl Endowed Term Chair in Nutrition, professor of Pediatric Nursing, and standing faculty in the Department of Family and Community Health, and Gilles, practice professor in the Department of Biobehavioral Health Sciences and associate dean for school and community engagement, have been elected as Distinguished Fellows of the National Academies of Practice.

In honor of Valentine's Day, and as a way of fostering community in her Shakespeare in Love course, Becky Friedman took her students to the University Club for lunch one class period.
