Members of the Penn community and residents of West Philadelphi who exemplify the ideals Martin Luther King Jr. espoused will be honored for their work in serving others.
The keynote speaker, Cheryl Townsend Gilkes will discuss ways to achieve social justice.
The event is sponsored by Penn's Office of the Chaplain, as part of the University's commemoration of the MLK holiday.
