Penn Dental Medicine Students Take Part in Oral Cancer Walk April 18 on Penn Campus
WHAT:
The Penn Dental Medicine Oral Cancer Awareness Society presents the first 3.1-mile Philadelphia Oral Cancer Walk to promote awareness of the disease to members of the dental community and surrounding neighborhoods.
A $20 donation is required to register or sponsor a participant and survivors of oral cancer may walk free of charge as honored guests. All proceeds will benefit the Oral Cancer Foundation.
Saturday, April 18, 2009 Registration at 9 a.m. Walk and free oral cancer screenings from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Refreshments and entertainment until 2 p.m.
