WHAT: The annual Gordon S. Bodek Lecture, “Higher Education and the Economic Downturn,” featuring a panel discussion about the current financial crisis and what it means to the future of colleges and universities nationwide with:
• Craig Carnaroli, executive vice president, University of Pennsylvania
• Katherina Rosqueta, executive director, Center for High Impact Philanthropy, Penn School of Social Policy and Practice
• Jane Wellman, executive director, Delta Project on Postsecondary Costs, Productivity and Accountability
• Robert Zemsky, professor, Penn Graduate School of Education
Topics include: what students, faculty, staff and alumni can expect, as well as how the economic downturn will change the landscape of admissions, financial aid and institutional advancement.
