WHAT:
The University of Pennsylvania’s 17th annual Family Day, featuring a tailgate party, football game, special tours of the Penn Museum and ice skating at the Penn Ice Rink. The event is hosted by the Division of Human Resources, in association with Penn Athletics.
WHO:
Faculty and staff are invited to bring their families and friends.
WHEN & Saturday, Oct. 10
WHERE:
11:30 a.m.–1 p.m., Tailgate Party, Highline Park, 31st St. under the Walnut St. Bridge, near the Left Bank building); tickets required.
1 p.m., Penn Football vs. Bucknell, Franklin Field, 33rd and South sts.; tickets required.
Noon–3 p.m., Penn Museum, 3260 South St., Special Exhibit: Ancient Maya. A docent family tour, Pottery and Politics of the Ancient Maya, is at 12:30 p.m., and a Public Gallery Tour: African Music and Masks, is offered at 1:30 p.m. Free admission with PennCard.
5:45–7:15 p.m., Penn Ice Rink, 130 Walnut St.; free admission with PennCard; skate rentals $2.50.
