Penn’s Fox Leadership Program Partners With Girl Scouts for “Stand Up!” Leadership Workshop April 5

Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m to 3 p.m.

Approximately 100 Junior Girl Scouts from West and North Philadelphia will learn to build leadership skills and self-esteem and learn how to stand up for themselves when they meet with student members of the Girl Scouts at Penn Club for “Stand Up!”

Four workshops will be held. Penn’s GUIDE group will present a self-esteem workshop, Penn’s Office of Public Safety will conduct a self-defense workshop and Girl Scouts at Penn will run workshops on team building and leadership skills. The girls will also take part in a history scavenger hunt and other educational games.
