PHILADELPHIA – In its annual “100 Best Places to Work in IT” survey, Computerworld Magazine has named the University of Pennsylvania’s Division of Information Systems and Computing the No. 1 employer for information-technology professionals in the Mid-Atlantic Region for the fourth consecutive year.

ISC/Penn also ranked No. 6 nationally in this survey.

“This is truly an honor since literally thousands of companies and organizations participate in the survey,” Robin Beck, ISC vice president, said. “The award recognizes ISC’s strong collaborative culture, innovative and exciting projects and employee commitment, as well as Penn’s strong benefits and HR programs that provide the information and flexibility to help employees balance work and personal responsibilities.”

Computerworld’s selection process includes a 100-question employer survey on categories such as career development, training, retention, work assignments, diversity, pay and benefits and recognition programs. In addition, approximately 35 percent of ISC employees were randomly selected to complete a Web-based survey that was analyzed by a third-party research firm.
