WHAT: FarmEcologys 3rd annual Fall Harvest Dinner at the University of Pennsylvania.
WHO: FarmEcology, a student-run organization at Penn that focuses on bringing healthier food to the Penn community from local farms, in collaboration with students from the Fox Leadership Program, have joined with Campus Dining Services and vendor Aramark to present this special dinner.
WHERE: Hill Dining Hall, 33rd and Walnut streets, Philadelphia.
WHEN: 5-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 5.
WHY: FarmEcology organizers believe that locally grown food not only benefits Penn students, faculty, staff and visitors by providing tasty and nutritious food options, but local farms and farmers as well by providing them a local outlet for their products. FarmEcology holds a variety of events throughout the year to increase student's interest in the nutritional and environmental benefits of local foods.
