Each year, during the relative quiet of the reading days before final exams, Penn Department of Physics and Astronomy shares its resources with area high schools in an annual physics show.  This year theme showcases the physics of light, and will demonstrate the properties of light in ways that most high schools simply cannot.

The demonstrations will provide students with real world examples of physical principles that teachers can use as a reference point during class.

The show will feature "magic" tricks, lasers and everyday science brought to life. And, yes, Santa Claus makes an appearance at the end of the first hour of each show: Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m/Thursday at 11 a.m.
