Seven faculty members in the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine are recipients of 2010 teaching awards.
Rose Nolen-Walston, assistant professor of clinical studies, New Bolton Center, has been named the Carl Norden Pfizer Distinguished Teacher.
Class of 2010 Awards went to Ariel Mosenco, staff veterinarian, Best Teacher, Philadelphia Campus, and Barbara Dallap Schaer, assistant professor of emergency medicine and critical care, Best Teacher, New Bolton.
Class of 2011 Awards were given to Jeffery Wilson, an anesthesia lecturer, Best Teacher, Philadelphia Campus, and Patricia Sertich, director of the Equine Endometrial Biopsy Service and director of Clinical Service, Georgia and Philip Hofmann Research Center for Animal Reproduction, Best Teacher, New Bolton Center.
Class of 2012 Awards went to Roberta Di Terlizzi, assistant professor of clinical pathology, Best Teacher, and Jamie Haddad, resident in anatomic pathology, Best Non-Lecturing Instructor.
Class of 2013 Awards were given to Peter Dodson, professor of anatomy, Excellence in Teaching Award, and Peter Hand, professor emeritus, Best Non-Lecturing Instructor.
