WHO:Eighteen midshipmen from the University of Pennsylvania NROTC unit, which includes students from Penn and Drexel and Temple universities, guest military speakers and hundreds of on-looking family members.

WHAT:In a time-honored military ceremony, the midshipmen will get ensign and lieutenant bars and officially become officers in the Navy and Marine Corps.

WHEN:May 15, 2002, at 2 p.m.

WHERE:Battleship USS New Jersey, Camden Waterfront

More than 300 family members and guests are expected to be in attendance on

the deck of the historic USS New Jersey to witness this ceremony.
