Students, Faculty and Staff Will Join Next Penn President In Procession through Campus

WHERE:36th and Walnut streets

The Penn Band will lead Penn students, staff and faculty in a spirited procession through campus to congratulate Amy Gutmann after the University's Board of Trustees votes earlier in the day to officially approve her appointment as the next Penn president.

The procession is set to begin at approximately 1 p.m. at 36th and Walnut streets and head south on 36th  to Locust Walk.  

Dr. Gutmann becomes Penn's eighth president on July 1.
