Set your VCRs: On Jan. 31, hundreds of millions of people will see a small business founded by a Penn student break into the big time during the Super Bowl. Jeremy's MicroBatch Ice Cream, founded by Jeremy Kraus (W'98) while he was enrolled as a Wharton undergraduate, will be featured in a Mail Boxes Etc. commercial during the big game. Kraus, pictured here (left) with Bill Anderson, owner of the MBE store at 3741 Walnut St., won the second annual "See Your Small Business on the Super Bowl Search" sponsored by the business-services chain. The commercial fits in with Kraus' plans to take his super-premium ice cream national this year.

In honor of Valentine's Day, and as a way of fostering community in her Shakespeare in Love course, Becky Friedman took her students to the University Club for lunch one class period. They talked about the movie "Shakespeare in Love," as part of a broader conversation on how Shakespeare's works are adapted.
