The Cornell Interactive Theatre Ensemble

To foster and strengthen our diverse work environment in the Penn community, HR/Learning and Education is proud to present a unique interactive theatrical experience designed to foster a respectful and productive workplace. The Cornell Interactive Theatre Ensemble is an award-winning group of professional actors and facilitators who, through a number of carefully scripted scenarios and follow-up dialogue with their audiences, explore sensitive workplace issues in a safe and open forum. Participants leave their presentations with a deeper understanding of the dynamics of problematic situations in the workplace and strategies for managing and preventing such problems. Join us for this provocative and moving program that received great reviews from the Penn community last year!

WPSA Focus Group: Professional Mentorship Program

Penn’s Human Resources division is considering creating a mentoring program for all University employees. Eve Poussot, education graduate student, is holding a focus group specifically for weekly paid professional staff. Come to share mentoring needs, ideas and experiences and help shape a pilot HR program. You will have an opportunity to volunteer as a potential participant in the pilot program. This is a brown bag session; please feel free to bring your lunch.

Wondering how to create an effective, dynamic resume? This video includes tips on how to make the “skills and accomplishments” section of your resume intriguing. Topics include the importance of focusing on the employer’s needs, not your own; how to use powerful assertions; how to inspire and excite the employer; and much more.
