TIME AT PENN: He’s been at this job for a little more than a year. Before that, he worked at the PennCard Center for a year-and-a-half.
WHAT HE DOES: What doesn’t he do? Hupp wears numerous hats in his job—and works on everything from graphic design and branding to Human Resources support, communications and event planning.
A TYPICAL DAY: “If there was no such thing as crime, I would have a regular day,” Hupp says. That’s because the departments are always at the ready to handle any unforseen incidents—from water leaks to other emergencies.
AFTER COLLEGE: This Rutgers grad began his post-college career instructing dance and intending to do performance full-time, but soon began running a mobile marketplace for artists. This led to work in advertising and marketing, and inspired Hupp to teach himself graphic design and web-developing software.
WHAT HE LIKES: “I think it’s a good challenge,” he says of his busy job. “I like the creative freedom I get.”
