Common Press will demonstrate hand papermaking, pulling sheets from a vat of cotton and linen fibers. Participants can learn to make a sheet of paper. No registration is required.

Incantation

Vocal artist Victoria Hanna performs a mash-up of art, artifacts, and learning, with a set of rare objects on public display. Simcha Gross of the Jewish Studies Program will introduce the culture of demons and spells in the ancient Near East. This performance and talk is presented in partnership with the Herbert D. Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies.
