Amanda Mott manages media relations related to the Office of the Executive Vice President which includes facilities and real estate, Penn’s Climate Action Plan, student financial services, business services, campus housing and dining, and the endowment. In addition, she covers Commencement and Penn Global including Perry World House, the Penn Wharton China Center, and the Penn Biden Center.
John Bence named University Archivist
Bence will assume the role on Aug. 1 as the chief administrator responsible for the University Archives and Records Center program to collect, manage, and preserve Archives materials.
Michael X. Delli Carpini named interim dean of Annenberg School for Communication
The Oscar H. Gandy Emeritus Professor of Communication and Democracy at the Annenberg School, and dean from 2003 to 2018, Delli Carpini is currently concluding a term as the inaugural faculty director of Penn’s Stavros Niarchos Foundation Paideia Program.

Penn expands financial aid for families earning less than $75,000 a year
In addition to covering tuition, fees, housing, and dining, the financial aid packages will provide additional resources including a laptop program, summer internship and research funding, and summer course funding.
