PHILADELPHIA - An upcoming episode of "Dinner Impossible," the Food Network's version of a culinary "Mission: Impossible," will feature Psi Upsilon fraternity brothers from the University of Pennsylvania doing their part to create a feast for Penn President Amy Gutmann and guests.

WHAT: In celebration of International Women's Day, the Pennsylvania Commission for Women and MAGPI, the Internet2 provider at the University of Pennsylvania, will co-sponsor an interactive virtual panel discussion and lunch with female role models featured in the commission's book, "Voices,", and school students from grades 6-8 at selected schools across the state.

PHILADELPHIA  - An inquisitive nature about the workings of the world around him brought New York City native Jonathan Fisher to the University of Pennsylvania nine years ago to study physics.  An exceptional musical talent will soon take him home again.

WHAT:  A recital by a select group of string students from Penn Alexander School, who are showcasing this public elementary school's music program.   The students will perform several selections for University of Pennsylvania President Amy Gutmann.  A reception will follow.

PHILADELPHIA -- Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine have derived uniparental embryonic stem cells - created from a single donor's eggs or two sperm - and, for the first time, successfully used them to repopulate a damaged organ with healthy cells in adult mice.

PHILADELPHIA -- The MAGPI advanced networking hub at the University of Pennsylvania has connected to the new Internet2 Network, providing the research and education community in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware with more than 10 times the capacity of its current network and with new on-demand bandwidth capabilities.

PHILADELPHIA -- Moody's Investor Services has upgraded the University of Pennsylvania's long-term debt rating to Aa2, from Aa3.  Moody's removed Penn's rating from a watchlist for potential upgrades and said the rating outlook is stable.This rating upgrade to Aa2 restores the University to its highest rating level, last achieved in 1998.
